I purchased DVÄRGTALL from Ikea in April. While this product name, like all Ikea product names, is remarkably descriptive, I figured that readers may want a visual aid. The DVÄRGTALL box, pictured below, features an image of the completed DVÄRGTALL.
As you can see, it is three wooden figures with legs. I seldom write “unboxing” articles. The only two I published covered a kokeshi doll and bonsai tree. Let us open this box.
It looks like the DVÄRGTALL figures are neatly wrapped. Also note the little yellow packet. That will be important.
Now you can see the still-wrapped figures on my counter along with the packet.
I unwrapped the DVÄRGTALL figures. They are all in perfect condition — just as the display versions had been in Ikea.

The yellow packet contains nine legs, three for each DVÄRGTALL figure. While I know how to build and repair desktop computers and laptops, my Ikea-construction capabilities leave much to be desired. Speaking of computer repair, I decided to shift things over to my IFIXIT FixMat.
The three sets of three legs are of three different lengths. They are interchangeable, so it was up to me to decide which ones to give to each figure. I decided to go with the set-up shown on the photo on the box.
Could I complete this difficult Ikea construction project?
I used the shortest legs on the little guy first. One of the legs was a bit difficult to twist in, but as you can see — all is well that ends well.
Next I gave the medium-length legs to the UFO shaped guy. For whatever reason, I had a much easier time fitting them in.
Finally, I gave the tall lets to the bowling pin-shaped guy. The legs put up a fight, but all is well that ends well.
I managed to complete by DVÄRGTALL construction project. I have not decided where I am putting them yet, but rest assured that my Kokeshi dolls, stuffed chickens, Kinder egg pilots, and others look forward to meeting them.
According to Ikea, the DVÄRGTALL figures are made from solid wood and designed by Inma Bermudez.
I was on a roll after my DVÄRGTALL triumph. This inspired me to tackle my new PANSARTAX.
Unfortunately PANSARTAX proved to be too much for me. I resorted to help. Thus, I cannot show you my step-by-step construction. But you can see the completed project below.

For people who read my previous Ikea article, I note that Ikea did not have the JUSTINA seat cushion in stock.
