In early June 2022, I published an article documenting a walk across the Hamilton Avenue Footbridge. The footbridge connects the Brooklyn New York City neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens and Red Hook over (and under) the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and the Gowanus Expressway. On June 24, I walked across the Bridge from Carroll Gardens to Red Hook (my previous article covered a walk from Red Hook to Carroll Gardens). After arriving in Red Hook, I walked up Hamilton Avenue in the direction of Gowanus. After walking about two blocks away from the Walkway exit, I turned around to take a photo.

You can see the start ramp of the Carroll Gardens entrance to the Hamilton Avenue Footbridge off in the distance in the background of the photo.
