I see that I have made my first appearance on page 1 of Hacker News since March 2021.  My first appearance was for a lengthy post on RSS as a Facebook alternative. Appearance two is for a micropost I shot off one night about a weird search engine in my logs. For my new HN visitors, I have written more substantive articles about alternative search engines.
