Derek Taylor of DistroTube posted an interesting video on Odysee as a YouTube competitor (see video). The video is worth watching and I agree with most of it. We have used LBRY/Odysee a few times here at the NLJ. Caveat, however – my understanding is that Odysee itself is not open source (only the LBRY backend is) and it remains to be seen how the Odysee front-end develops as it becomes more mainstream.
