Hatoverse, “the world’s first pigeon metaverse,” was released for iOS on April 7. According to SoraNews24, “[y]ou can walk around, jump into the air, make pigeon cooing noises, and do whatever else a pigeon does.” That is all you can do, for the game lacks non-pigeon functionality such as voice and text chat. My general view on the metaverse is that it is stupid, but I will make an exception for pigeons. I do have one concern, however: When did iOS of all things start getting the best exclusive games?
