I mentioned in a prior Leaflet that I had started playing Fire Emblem Engage when I received it on January 21, 2023. I am enjoying by run so far, and it seems like the team behind the game actually tested how it would play on the highest difficulty level, Maddening. Before I started playing, I purchased the $30 DLC for the game. Most of the DLC benefits will be released in the future, but we already have some special DLC paralogue chapters available now. These open up after the player completes chapter 6 in the main story and sees a certain event in the over-world. While I did not have too much difficulty with the first six story chapters and one paralogue, the first DLC paralogue was a nightmare. Will the endless dragon reinforcements ever cease? They do… but I will need to somewhat modify my strategy to not be overrun before that happens. I wish Lysithea was in Engage…
