One of my personal favorite New Leaf Journal articles is The Trees Leaf in May. May 2020 was our first full month online. For that reason, I thought a piece on a dictionary definition of “leaf” with a useage example about trees leafing in May made for fitting content. Now that we have reached May 2022, I thought that I ought to re-post the piece. It never gained anything close to the traction of the article published one day earlier – which remains one of our most-read pieces today.
