I tried my Game Boy Operator (see post on purchase). It is a small USB peripheral which allows a computer to read Game Boy cartridges. I only have a few Game Boy and Game Boy Advance cartridges on hand for testing. One feature of the Game Boy Operator is that  it detects whether a cartridge is authentic enough. The first cartridge that I tested was Kirby’s Dream Land. I am happy to report that the copy of Kirby’s Dreamland that I acquired at The Wiz in 1995 is indeed authentic. We can rest assured that The Wiz did not go out of business for selling counterfeit Game Boy cartridges. Thank goodness.
