I like keeping my chat applications in one place. Ferdi, which had been my solution for this, appears to have imploded. I am trying Hamsket as a replacement. It works well so far and it has the services that I need. My only complaint is that I have not found an alternative to Ferdi’s workplaces or ability to disable apps, but I will look more into the docs to see everything that Hamsket is capable of. Correction:  I found the disable feature. It just about covers all the bases. I can live without workspaces.
