I recently wrote an article inspired by a different upcoming anime romantic comedy called My Tiny Senpai, which follows another “tiny senpai” based series I discussed called My Senpai is Annoying. Those series are both centered on gimmicks. But how gimmicky is too gimmicky? A romantic comedy focusing on a girl whose thing is forgetting her glasses? That is a very specific gimmick.
