There are many trees growing in Brooklyn Bridge Park. However, to the best of my knowledge, there are no walnut trees growing in Brooklyn Bridge Park. For this reason, I took note when I saw a squirrel with a walnut in its mouth on a park bench.

Do note that this is the second time that I have covered issues pertaining to squirrels on benches (the first featured better photography-work on my part).
If anyone lost a walnut in the general Brooklyn Bridge Park area, I think that I know the culprit. However, I photographed the culprit red-pawed on April 13, 2022, so I fear that the walnut may be as long-gone, much like a certain found parakeet from 2020.
