Victor V. Gurbo, a New Leaf Journal editor, is a musician, artist, writer, and luthier based in Brooklyn, NY. He is the front-man and songwriter for his band, Victor V. Gurbo & Co. The band won NPR’s Battle of the Boroughs competition, and has performed at esteemed venues such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the City Winery. Victor runs Voccoli Guitars, where he builds and sells solid-body guitars made out of reclaimed and eco-friendly materials.
