From Tim at Core Electronics, a company called Primori has released two e-ink displays for the Raspberry Pi line of single board computers. I am a big fan of e-ink and especially color e-ink. See for example some screenshots of my Pocketbook Color e-reader in my review of the FrogFind search tool. These particular Raspberry Pi displays do not sound like they are quite up to the task of turning a Pi into a designated e-reader, but the trend is certainly encouraging. For those in the market for a color e-ink reader, I recommend looking at the Pocketbook Color and the Pocketbook InkPad Color.
