Victor V. Gurbo is something of a renissance man. He occasionally writes content for The New Leaf Journal, builds custom guitars, designs video games, and thinks often of Richard Nixon. But his true passion is writing and performing music (see his Quarantine Sessions posts). On June 2, 2022, this passion will take Victor and his band, Victor V. Gurbo & Co.to the prestigious Carnegie Hall for a show with the talented Phil Robinson.  From the Carnegie Hall event page:

Singer-songwriters Phil Robinson and Victor V. Gurbo make their Carnegie Hall Debut performing the first double-bill concert in their eleven-year friendship and collaboration.  With their respective players, Robinson and Gurbo perform renditions of their original music (with a few cover songs thrown in).  Playing folk, blues, and rock-influenced songs that straddle the line between timeless and modern, the pair have entertained crowds at some of NYC’s most prestigious venues.

Clutch stuff indeed. Tickets for the show are available on the Carnegie Hall website for $20.
