I announced a This Day in New Leaf Journal history Hubzilla series in a Leaflet the other day.  My May 6 entry today will be hard to top. In 2020, my colleague Victor V. Gurbo, who will soon be taking the stage at Carnegie Hall (see my Leaflet and the official Carnegie Hall event page), posted a history of the classic folk ballad, Love Henry, along with his joint-rendition of the tale of love and madness with fellow Brooklyn musician Mark Caserta. In the post, Victor referenced the infamous anime School Days, which I covered in extensive detail on May 6, 2021. Today, I returned to School Days for a second piece on its Nice Boat meme – covering it from a different angle than I did one year ago.
