I assure you that none of us who are loved by mosquitoes needed to have this confirmed by a researcher. We know. As I explained in a tanka, the best strategy for protecting yourself from mosquitoes is to find tastier company. However, if you are the tastiest of all, there is no hope other than very hot weather (allegedly).
My mosquito bait’s lament aside, the article that I linked to is actually very interesting and offers a theory as to what distinguishes some people from others in terms of attractiveness to our blood-sucking friends.
