From a Catholic News Agency report (May 2, 2023):
A Utah bill that is designed to prevent minors from accessing pornography online is set to go into effect on Wednesday, May 3, leading the website Pornhub to block access to its website in the entire state.
This is not a subject I have touched on often at The New Leaf Journal. To the best of my recollection, the only porn I have discussed was productivity porn. As my colleague Victor V. Gurbo made clear, we are a family website. Allow me to weigh in on Porn Hub’s surely courageous stand against having to verify the age of its visitors (let us set aside Porn Hub’s lack of diligence in verifying the age of its uploaders for another day). Please note that I am delivering my assessment in a dead monotone:
