A graffiti tagger who goes by BLOB Dylan began making waves (or tags) in St Petersburg, Florida, in the 2010s. He appears to have moved to New York City at some point where he continued to refine his craft or tags. I became aware of BLOB Dylan when I happened across his tag on a rare trip to the Bushwick, a Brooklyn neighborhood. I initially chronicled the sighting because my esteemed friend and New Leaf Journal colleague, Victor V. Gurbo, is a self-described Bob Dylan fanatic. One thing led to another and I ended up writing a research article into the BLOB in addition to some other pieces. Below, you will find all of my work about or touching on BLOB Dylan.

Miscellaneous BLOB References
- Justin & Justina 〜 On Robin Hood and GameStop (February 2, 2021)
I referenced BLOB Dylan in a humorous fictional dialogue a few days before I published my first article on the subject. As you can infer in hindsight, I already had the BLOB Dylan photo and story idea in mind. - June 2021 at the NLJ (June 30, 2021)
A proverbial BLOB Dylan coming out party. My then-two BLOB articles both rated among the 10 most-visited articles of June 2021. This would be close to the high water mark for the first BLOB article. The second continued to post strong numbers through the end of the year. - Victor V. Gurbo, Bob Dylan’s Voice, and Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” (July 26, 2021); in re; Stop Saying Bob Dylan Can’t Sing [by Victor V. Gurbo] (July 23, 2021)
I used my BLOB DYLAN photo to illustrate my response to Victor’s response to people on the internet who insist that Bob Dylan can’t sing. - Justin & Justina: The Most-Read New Leaf Journal Content of 2021 (January 1, 2022)
My first two BLOB Dylan articles were the 18th and 11th most-visited articles of 2021 respectively.
