Rotating PDFs in qpdfview

I only just discovered that I can rotate PDFs in my PDF viewer, qpdfview, by holding down shift and using the scroll wheel. As the techies say, this is a game-changer for my day-job. Is this how it works in all PDF readers? Did I miss something very obvious for years? (Don’t tell anyone that I learned this powerful technique by accindentally hitting shift instead of ctrl when I was trying to adjust the zoom.)
