In good news, Bing is (supposedly) reviewing our now six-month ban from the second biggest English language search index. In bad news, June 2023 somewhat showed why we could really use a return from our wholly unexplained and unjustified Bing ban. Our Google hits flagged a bit in June with the decline in some of our most-viewed articles of the last few months. While our overall June totals were not too far off the rest of our 2023 pace, they were far enough off that June 2023 represented our weakest month in terms of total page views (according to Koko, at least) since September 2021. Our top 12 featured two articles making their top-12 debuts at positions 6 and 12, and one (my very long essay on Otho) making its first appearance in more than two years. My tsuki ga kirei article topped our June ranking for the third consecutive year and earned its first monthly top spot since January.

Conclusion
June was a somewhat slow month at The New Leaf Journal, but it did see the return of our Guestbook and major progress toward completing our al|together visual novel review project. I look forward to making July a bit busier, and perhaps we will have some good news on the search engine indexing front.
Until July 31, 2023!
